Season: Season Location: Location Phone: phone This lovely lodge is located on a remote, privately owned beach in Kachemak Bay State Park, and offers full-service cabins next to the ocean for groups, couples, families, and more. A small maximum capacity of 12 makes for a peaceful time away from the chaos and noise of the outside world and private groups of 8 or more get the entire lodge to themselves. Relax and watch the sunsets or have the adventures of your life in this unique and beautifully handcrafted lodge. Built by Alaska pioneer Keith Iversonfrom local driftwood that he collected from the shores of Kachemak Bay and then cut, by hand, into the boards that make each cabin, the lodge is a testament to what one man can do with a little imagination and a lot of perserverance.
Delicious meals are served in the oceanfront dining hall and private trails for the use of lodge guests only become the pathways to new adventures each day. Bald eagles nest next to the ldoge and arrive on the lodge beach every morning to supply the wake up calls before breakfast. Wild mountain goats live on the cliffs next to the lodge and Sadie Cove itself abounds with sea otters, seals, porpose, whales, sea lions, ducks, fish, and more. This is a place to share stories, meet new friends, laugh, and have fun with long time Alaska residents, Keith and Randi Iverson. |
